Recommendability check-sheet:

Does your experience of this plant in the Derry district cover at least five seasons?

Is it visitable, or viewable in a photograph?

It is reasonably wind-hardy and frost-hardy?

If it has special needs, are they easy to supply?

Is it either non-invasive,or easy to restrain completely?

Does it ‘deliver its goods’ in every typical season?
